Welcome to our Gallery—a visual showcase of the incredible young changemakers, grassroots initiatives, and community-driven impact that define the Humanitarian Changemakers Network.

From local workshops to global campaigns, from brainstorming sessions to bold action in the field, these images tell the story of a movement led by young people who are reimagining systems, challenging injustice, and driving meaningful change.

Group Workshops

Designing Impact from the Ground Up

Our school and community workshops are designed to make the foundations of social change accessible to everyone—no matter their age, background, or experience. We guide participants through interactive sessions to co-design their own Theory of Change, empowering school students and community groups to lead projects with clarity, purpose, and measurable impact. Every workshop is a space for learning, reflection, and building agency.

Changing Times News

Solutions-Focused Journalism for a Changing World

Launched at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Changing Times News was our youth-led response to a world overwhelmed by crisis headlines. More than just a newspaper, it was a platform for solutions-focused journalism—shining a light on the creative, courageous, and community-driven responses to the challenges we faced.

Created by and for young changemakers, Changing Times featured stories of resilience, innovation, and grassroots action, offering readers not just information, but inspiration and direction. Each edition showcased how young people across Australia and beyond were responding to the moment—not with fear, but with hopeful, practical solutions for long-term change.

Through writing, art, and storytelling, Changing Times News reminded us that change is possible, and already happening. Explore our gallery to see how this project created space for youth voices, challenged dominant narratives, and contributed to a more hopeful media landscape.

Creating For Change

Where Art Meets Action for the SDGs

Creating for Change was a powerful collaboration with the Peace Card Project, celebrating the role of creativity, storytelling, and the arts in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals. This event highlighted how visual art, poetry, music, and design can be used to express hope, challenge injustice, and inspire collective action across diverse communities and causes.

LEGO Serious Play

Strategic Thinking—Hands On

We love using LEGO® Serious Play® as a creative and reflective tool in our social impact strategy sessions. It’s one of our favourite methodologies for helping changemakers—from grassroots organisations to emerging leaders—explore complex systems, visualise abstract concepts, and build shared understanding. Playful, purposeful, and powerful, these sessions unlock new ways of thinking and collaborating for change.

Networking For Change

Building Connections, Strengthening Movements

Our Networking for Change event brings together young changemakers, university students, and early-career social impact leaders to build the connections that fuel meaningful, collaborative action. In a sector where access to networks can determine access to opportunity, this event fosters inclusive spaces where ideas are shared, partnerships are sparked, and a new generation of changemakers can grow together.
